Njord Wegge

Summary

Njord Wegge is a Professor in Political Science, International Relations, at the Norwegian Military Academy/Norwegian Defence University College, where he leads several research projects pertaining to Military Power and Security in the Arctic. Wegge also holds a 20% position as Professor at the University of Tromsø, Norway’s Arctic University. Njord Wegge has been a visiting scholar to UC Berkeley in 2010 and a Visiting Professor, and “Chair of Arctic Security”, at the Marine Corps University, Quantico in 2022. Njord Wegge has published extensively on topics related to International Relations and Arctic security, including the defense of NATOs northern flank, hybrid warfare as well as democratic control of intelligence service.
